I don't understand why everything has to have 2 or 3 meanings when trying to convince people that your interpretation of the bible is true. You sound like all the other sheep contradicting years of supposed facts about god to make your version palpable. I love your show but question your understanding of the bible. It's from these types of rants that fanatics are born. I think it's time to make your relationship with your god a little more personal and private.

As an actor I think the character nuances you show are great and my goodness what a beautiful man HOWEVER- you are veiling your politics as Christianity - exactly what you are professing to be chaotic and evil. Were you not here to witness the devastation from Biden and Obama? So please don’t try to come off as Christian when you are doing exactly what you ‘preach’ against. You lost me.

I do have some issues but let me remind everyone God himself says in Issah that he DOES create evil. To another part I agree with and expound on your bleach story, Joni Erickson Tada the quadriplegic. She tells of a day she said to God "I want to serve you do what it takes" (or something to the effect) and he snaps her neck. Look at the powerful ministry she has in God's name now. God evil? No. God creates evil, most certainly.

Women aren't going to be bench pressing 200 pounds, at least not the kind that watch exercise videos, do you'd have to temper the workouts. I think it would be a really kind thing for you to do. I absolutely love this from Alan. A lot of evangelical Christians that I used to surround myself with thought that they had to just sit and wait/be stagnant until God revealed his plan and will for their lives. A-lot of times, this viewpoint turned into them thinking that they didn’t need to take accountability for their actions as they aren’t in charge of the direction that their lives go. I’ve learned that this is a very flawed viewpoint. God wants us to use our free will in good, creative ways. There is nothing wrong with designing our lives using what He has given us. God doesn’t expect us to operate like robots following this blueprint that our church and pastor have told us is the only way to experience the fullness of life. This is where a lot of Christians have gotten it wrong, in my opinion.

I don't believe in the resurrection. What now for me? I've been at an endless battle with faith and God. I've read the Gospels I just can't accept it as the truth. Acts 5 - Ananias and Sapphira, I probably feel more bad for these two than others in that book. Imagine not giving all your money to the apostles, imagine trying to lie to save some for you and your family to survive. (Being rational, human.) Imagine then both Husband and Wife being smite'd down instantly and used as an example for the people around. Jeepers.

You do know the fact that there are articles about Pope Benedict hiding pedophilia cases from the law is a good thing. Because 50 years ago, there would've been no article about it in the news. Alan, you say things a Christian ought to say. People like you will spread the Christian religion. Christo-fascists will be the end of it if they remain in control of the brand. I'm really impressed that your Catholic background didn't screw you up permanently. I think the traveling you did was probably the best thing for you. I know you said your father was really conservative, and I think you said he was strict, but he let you dance in high school. My catholic military father wouldn't have let my brothers dance.

Travel, growing up, evolving beyond where your parents were is why things should be getting better for everybody. We have so much ready information now about people around the world, their differences as well as their similarities to us as individuals. I think that's the reason why in most countries religion has lost its grip on society. There is still intolerance, but it's not unchallenged like it used to be. We aren't judging people as much nowadays because of their religion, their color, their sexual preferences, their political views as our parents did. We are truly evolving and getting better. I think Jesus would really like the direction the world is going.

The world is less corrupt than it used to be. It is decaying less than it used to. I do wish somebody would crack a history book before they start saying that the world's in horrible shape. It's not. What is happening is your parents aren't there to take care of you anymore, you are seeing what all adults see when they finally step out into the world. The world is much better than it used to be. Quit trying to blame politicians and gay people and migrants, and whoever else are the bogeyman of the day. Do with your world what you can, be good, be kind.

Season 1 was good but season 2 wasn't. I think the criticism isn't what type of character you play but that you have to compromise your morals to play them. Something more clean regardless of what character you play is what I believe people want to see from Christian actors.
